DR. MARJORI KREBS
Dr. Marjori Krebs is a lifelong educator and a Professor at the University of New Mexico in the Department of Teacher Education, Educational Leadership, and Policy. With more than 35 years of experience across K-12 and higher education, she’s served as a social studies teacher, district administrator, university supervisor, and teacher educator—always with a deep commitment to improving how we prepare the next generation of educators.
At UNM, Dr. Krebs leads as the Director of Residencies for the College of Education & Human Sciences and coordinates Graduate Licensure Programs in both Elementary and Secondary Education. Her research centers on teacher preparation and support, with a special focus on teacher residencies, project-based service-learning, and co-teaching models.
Marjori’s recent work has taken her to the Zuni Pueblo, where she’s helping build culturally relevant pathways for future educators. She holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma (BA), The Ohio State University (MA), and Bowling Green State University (EdD).
Her impact is felt not only in classrooms but in the communities she serves—always grounded in the belief that great teachers build great futures.
